Accommodation in Kerikeri is not just Bed and Breakfast.

Just recently we enjoyed the company of an elderly couple from Belgium in our accommodation.  They arrived in the evening before Waitangi Day.  During their inbound journey their brand new hire car suffered a slow puncture.  Within 30 minutes the tyre was completely flat.  We were happy to help arrange for the AA to change the wheel to the 'skinny' spare but with a long journey to Rotarua ahead of them it was essential the correct wheel was repaired and put back on the vehicle.  Of course Waitangi Day followed and after that Saturday and then Sunday with no local emergency tyre services open.  This required some 'out of the box' thinking and extra effort on our part.  We achieved the repair and importantly the guests did not lose any of their precious time enjoying Northland.

Today we received the following letter.  This alone makes all the extra input well worth while.

Hello Geoff and Chris,
We think of you so often and wish to thank you again and more for all your kindness for us.
